New, yet nostalgic, Renoca, derived from Renovation + Car, promotes an entirely new car culture. Through “renovation” of pre-owned models of Toyota’s durable Land Cruiser and Tacoma, it adds a front-end conversion kit, to give the car an exterior classic facelift.

The Renoca Windansea is envisioned as “a Japanese-style neo-classic massive pickup that combines beauty and strength, conveying a design that melds outdoor experiences with city life,” according to Designer Takayuki Yamazaki.

Like the landmark La Jolla beach and surf spot, the namesake Renoca “Windansea” is a combination of classic beauty and enduring power and strength.  Based on the durable Toyota Tacoma, you are able to experience a ride with vintage vibes and modern comfort and utility.  The front end of the truck recalls the retro look of 60 series Land Cruisers, so much so that some are calling it a “Taco Cruiser”.

To ensure that this truck was befitting the Renoca “Windansea” name, Flex has checked for safety and mechanical longevity with repairs made including:
